The red card shouldn't have never happened. He called the foul & that was enough. From there on watching the game was senseless & PSG went on to score 3 more goals as Barcelona played with only 10 players. Bad Ref!!

The red card was correct…but I don’t think that’s the only reason they lost the game. I think Xavi lost his composure right after the red card instead of thinking of other solutions. He just lashed and got himself a red card as well and made the whole team lose focus instead of adapting and finding solutions

As someone with Spanish roots, huge fan of Xavi and Barcelona... I have to completely disagree with Xavi. Araujo went in like a stupid. It was a red card, case closed. I understand Xavi is frustrated. 11 vs 11 Barcelona could have gone to semi finals. But unfortunately Araujo messed up. Gundogan gave a clear non emotional assessment of what happened. Xavi is just completely under control of his emotions. Spanish teams are often disadvantaged by the referee but not this time, Xavi.
